How do I
do that?

Short video walkthroughs for everything on Just Honey Do It — whether you're posting a task or doing the work. Pick your side, watch the steps, and find quick answers below.

For clients

Get it handled.

Three quick demos covering everything from posting your task to paying when the job's done right.

Step 1

Post a task

Describe what you need, pick a service and timing, add a photo, and post it — vetted Doers come to you.

Step 2

Compare & accept a bid

Review Doers by rating, reviews, and price. Pick the one you want and book in a tap.

Step 3

Approve & pay

Your money stays in escrow until you approve. Release payment with one tap, then leave a review.

For Doers

Get paid.

From setting up your verified profile to bidding on jobs and keeping 80% of every payout.

Step 1

Sign up & get verified

Create your profile, pick your trade, and pass identity and background checks — once.

Step 2

Bid on a job

Browse local jobs that fit your skills, set your price, add a note, and send your bid — no fee to be considered.

Step 3

Finish & get paid

Mark the job complete, the client approves, and you keep a flat 80% — straight to your account.

Quick answers

Frequently asked.

Signing up and posting a task is free. On a completed job, Doers keep a flat 80% — the platform takes a transparent 20%, with no hidden lead fees or rising commissions. Clients only ever pay the price they agree to in the app.

We're launching with a founding network in Malibu and Greater Los Angeles, then expanding to New York, Miami, London, and beyond. You can request your city on our Global Expansion page to move it up the roadmap.

Tap "Post a task," describe what you need, choose a service type and timing, and optionally add a photo. Once you post, vetted Doers nearby can send you bids — usually within minutes. See the "Post a task" video above for the full flow.

Each bid shows the Doer's price, star rating, number of reviews, and a short message. Compare them side by side, read their public review history, and pick the person you're most comfortable with. Then tap "Accept & book."

Yes. You can message a Doer and counter their bid right in the app. Nothing is locked in until you both agree and you tap "Accept & book" — and the price you approve is exactly what you pay.

Tap "Apply as a Doer," enter your details, choose your trade, and complete identity verification and a background check. Once you're verified, your profile goes live and you can start bidding. The "Sign up & get verified" video above walks through it.

A flat, public 80% of every completed job. On a $110 job, the 20% platform fee is $22 and you keep $88. There are no lead fees and no rising commission — the split is the same for every Doer, in every market.

Never. You don't pay to bid and you don't pay to be considered. You only ever give up the flat 20% on jobs you actually complete and get paid for.

Once you mark a job complete and the client approves it, your 80% payout is released to your account. Funds are held safely in escrow in the meantime, so payment is guaranteed the moment the client taps approve.

When a client accepts a bid, the payment is held securely in escrow — not sent to the Doer yet. It's only released when the client approves the finished work. No cash changes hands, and everything is encrypted.

Yes. Every Doer completes government-ID identity verification and a criminal background check before they can bid on any job. Their ratings and reviews are public, so you always know who you're hiring.

Don't approve the payment — raise an issue in the app instead. Your funds stay held in escrow while our support team reviews the job, messages, and photos from both sides, then works toward a fair outcome: a fix, a partial release, or a full refund.
